Our rooms in Cerro Catedral, Bariloche

Amazing hotel within walking distance of Catedral. The service we received by the staff was so amazing, they wen’t way above and beyond for us. Thank you for your very genuine hospitality and we hope to visit again soon.

We had a fabulous stay at The Galileo Hotel! The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Our room was spacious with lovely natural light and beautiful rustic character. Short walk to the slopes and ski village. We highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

We stayed at Galileo in late August. Everything was wonderful. Our rooms were rustic - which I think is part of the charm - but spacious and immaculately clean. The food menu was surprisingly deep and interesting. All food is served in your room, but everything gets there hot. We had dinner there twice and very much enjoyed what we had. They also had interesting wines by the glass that they delivered to the room upon request. But the best part of the whole experience was the service. It simply could not have been friendlier, kinder, or more helpful. We considered Galileo a stand-out and if we go back to Cerro Catedral we will definitely stay there. I recommend it very highly.

Loved staying at Galileo. The service was amazing. I found this place while in the mountain without a place to stay. They offered a great room and a great breakfast.
I will stay again next year.

Large bedroom separated from the living room and dining area. Large bathroom with hot tub heated floors. Great wifi. The full kitchen: fridge, sink, stove, toaster and microwave were great to relax outside with some hot beverages. The floor has amonite fossils. The hotel has a telescope and upon coordination they brought an astronomer. She was very knowledgeable and gave us an hour of observation and explanation of what we were watching in English and Spanish. The staff are very nice and helpful in suggesting good activities in the area. Breakfast was delivered to our room between 8-10am upon coordination with the front desk. The location is not in the city, about a 15min drive to the city which makes it much more quiet and nice. The views are spectacular especially in the mornings.
